My first fabric design

A few weeks ago I explored where you can design your own fabric and let them print it for you. It's great! Spontaneously I loaded up one picture of my Gelli-Art prints from last summer and tried out all the possibilities from the so called Stoff - Designer to design my own fabric. It took me a half an hour to figure all out and two weeks to get my fabric - piece back. It is an easy way to make unique fabric!

Magnet Board Upcycling

A few weeks ago I bought a beautiful fat quarter of fabric I don't wanted to cut of. I decided to use the fabric to renew an old magnet board and it's magnets. See how gorgeous it became.
I glued the fabric with spray-glue onto the magnetic board and slipped the edges under the frame. The magnet are made by the same way - spray glued and wrapped into the fabric.

Sugar Block Club - February and March Blocks

This time I've done the blocks of February and March at the same weekend. It was a great pleasure for me to get the points so well. I confess that I am always a little scared about all the points in Amy Gibsons blocks in this year's Sugar Block Club quilt along. But with her great instructions I could figure it out well - thank you Amy!
